Today was a day of contrasts. It rained last night and it was very windy when we went for our morning walk. However, later in the morning we went to the market and just as we came out of
store it began to hail...hail of all things 
. So we ran under an umbrella and stayed until the hail stopped...then continued our shopping. On our afternoon walk, we were crossing the Ponte Vecchio and even stranger than hail....a Monday bride and groom. It's some kind of tradition in Florence for brides and grooms to walk over the Ponte Vecchio (getting their beautiful white dresses really nasty on the bottom)....and as you can see...big sun shining. What a funny weather day!
